From April 9 to April 16, the Vice-Chairman of the Belt and Road Institute in Sweden, Hussein Askary, accompanied a group of reporters from different Belt and Road countries in a tour of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China.
The tour covered economic, cultural, social, and ecological aspects of life in Xinjiang. It was a big surprise for all who have been there for the first time.
