BRIX Arranged a Deep-Diving Webinar on China’s High-Quality Development and Belt and Road Economics

The Belt and Road Institute in Sweden (BRIX) arranged an international webinar with officials and experts from several nations on June 20th.

The theme of the webinar was the exploration of the what is called China’s “high-quality development” and how that affects China’s relationship to the world and the Belt and Road Initiative.

Speakers included:

H.E. Ambassador Cui Aimin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Sweden.

Jan Menke Hopma, CEO of Innovasian Bridge in the Netherlands.

Professor Glenn Diesen, Professor of Political Economy at the University of South-Eastern Norway.

Professor Ding Yifan, Senior Fellow at the Global Governance and Development Institute at Renmin University and former deputy-director of the Institute of World Development, under the State Council’s Development Research Centre.

Hussein Askary, Vice Chairman of BRIX and a Distinguished Research Fellow at the Guangdong Institute for International Strategies.

Stephen Brawer, Chairman of The Belt and Road Institute in Sweden and a Distinguished Research Fellow at the Guangdong Institute for International Strategies.
